Notification
No. 1256-F.T., dated 26.08.2016 -In workout of the electricity conferred by using sub-section (1), Read with clause (a) of sub-section (2), of part 10 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act two of 1899), the Governor is thrilled hereby to make the following modification in the West Bengal Stamp Rules, 1994, as a result, amended (hereinafter referred to as the stated rules): –
Amendment
In the stated Rules, in rule 14A, for the proviso to sub-rule (1), replace the following Proviso: –
“Provided that the price of stamp obligation exceeding Rs.50,000/- (Filly thousand), shall be made compulsorily through digital charge mode”.
2. This notification shall come into pressure with impact from the 1st day of September 2016.
