The Governor is thrilled hereby to make the following amendment to this Department Notification No. 741-F.T. dated eighth June 2018, concerning the functioning of the Sub-Committee of the State stage Monitoring Committee for instruction and revision of market cost database of houses for registration of files in the places of work below the Directorate of Registration & Stamp Revenue, West Bengal at some stage in the State:
i) In the absence of Additional Inspector General of Registration & Additional Commissioner of stamp Revenue, West Bengal the senior-most officer in the rank of Joint Inspector General of Registration or Joint Commissioner of Stamp Revenue will feature as the Chairman of the Sub-Committee of the State Level Monitoring Committee.
ii) The Sub Committee after imperative scrutiny of the suggestion for revision of the market cost database shall verify the reasonableness and advise the Inspector General of Registration & Commissioner of Stamp Revenue, West Bengal for approval and incorporating crucial modifications in the market price database for man or woman projects/schemes/properties.
2. This will come into pressure with an instantaneous effect.
