No.159-F.T. dated 25th January. 2019 – In exercising of the electricity conferred via sub-section (2) of part 7 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act sixteen of 1908) (hereinafter referred 10 as the stated Act) and in amendment of all in the past notifications on the challenging matter, the Governor is pleased hereby to amalgamate the places of work of the 4 Addition. ii Registrars of Assurances, Kolkata, specifically Additional Registrar of Assurances -1, Kolkata, Additional Registrar of Assurance-II, Kolkata, Additional Registrar of Assurances-Ill, Kolkata and Additional Registrar of Assurances-IV. Kolkata who are all subordinate to Registrar of Assurances. Kolkata in the workplace of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata and the stated 4 Additional Registrars of Assurances. Kolkata is hereby approved to exercise and operate the powers and obligations of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata underneath the stated Act barring these referred to in section sixty-eight and part n of the stated Act;
2. The Additional Registrar of Assurances-II, Kolkata shall exercise the above-noted powers and responsibilities in addition to his powers and responsibilities as uh-Registrar of the Kolka1a Sub-district beneath the stated Act
3. This shall come into pressure with impact from the 1st day of February. 2019.
