No. 05/IGR -Kolkata, the 9nth December 2019 – In workout of the electricity conferred by way of sub-section (1) of part sixty-nine of the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908) as a result amended (hereinafter referred to as the stated act). The following amendments shall be made in the West Bengal Registration Rules,1962 posted with the Judicial Department notification No. 541 – Reg., dated twenty-sixth April 1963 (hereinafter referred as the stated rules): –

In the stated rules: –
- In Chapter – XIX, in rule 124, after sub-rule (5) add the following sub-rule
“(6) When an “e-Deed” is introduced for registration through the man or woman licensed to current such report below part 32 of the Act, the registering officer shall fulfil himself-
a) That the “e-Deed” is organized in the registration device on the groundwork of records entered into the gadget which includes these entered at the time of the technology of e-Assessment question slip;
b) That prescribed e-Deed layout is used for the purpose;
c) That it is signed electronically, partly or wholly, with the aid of the events to such e-Deed
Available in the gadget the file can be signed through him bodily on the printed structure generated utilizing the System and such signed printed structure will be scanned and preserved as a section of the e-Deed.”
- This notification for introducing the non-compulsory device in admire of e-Deed will come into pressure with impact from 10.12.19.
